Jim Tucci
My first and most influential teacher was Jim Tucci. He was a great player, band director, teacher, mentor, and friend until his death in December 1998.
In 1952, at the age of only __, Jim led the Air Force Band on these recordings.
These tracks have been salvaged from old tapes, but give a
clear sense of his beautiful sound and the musicality of his playing.
